Cookie banner checklist
Check your banner against GDPR, ePrivacy and the US opt-out rules, line by line.
2 tools, 2 guides, 7 comparisons, 1 official list
A cookie banner answers two different laws at once. In the EU, non-essential cookies wait for a yes; under California’s law and the other US state laws, tracking can run until a visitor opts out, and in California, Colorado, Oregon and New Jersey a Global Privacy Control signal counts as that opt-out. One banner usually has to do both, by region.
This folder holds the banner checklist, the cookie policy template, the Google Analytics question and the consent platforms set side by side against the consent rules. Analytics that need no banner at all are compared here too.
